TOUR DESCRIPTION

DAY 1

This will be the day you arrive in our beautiful country! We'll be expecting you at the airport with a warm welcome. If you feel like it and arrive early enough, we'll take you for a tour around the city with some fun and tasty stops before dropping you off at the Sheraton hotel.

DAY 2

At 7:30 am, be ready for the EXC truck to pick you and your gear up at your hotel. We'll head north to Nemocón, a salt and coal town at 8,500 ft ASL. On the way there, we’ll stop to try some local delights, and by 9:30 am, we'll start riding the famous "Dehydrator" desert trail.

By noon, we'll descend to Cucunubá, one of Colombia's most beautiful towns, for a delicious local lunch at a magical hacienda. After dessert and coffee, you'll compete in a thrilling time attack with your friends!

At around 3 pm, we'll head back to the parking lot, enjoy a cold beer, and prepare for a 45-minute drive to the beautiful countryside XUÉ Sabana Hotel in the town of Cajicá. You’ll get to rest a bit and prepare to hit Latin America’s most famous bar/restaurant, Andrés Carne de Res!

DAY 3

Hopefully, you are not hungover because day three will be a long one. At 7:30 am, we’ll pick you up for a 90-minute drive to the historical town of Zipacón at 8,500 ft ASL. From here, we’ll descend through the deep forest of the Tena Royal Path, which dates back to the 16th century! Built by the Muisca Indigenous people for trade purposes, it is now yours to ride. After descending to 1,300 ft ASL, you’ll notice the vast climate change, so why not stop at the gorgeous San Carlos waterfall and take a quick dive?

After cooling off at the waterfall, we’ll stop for lunch and local coffee at Café Tortuga. From here, the journey back begins, passing through different villages and crossing an abandoned railroad. Technical sections and slippery trails will spice things up, and as the weather gets colder, we’ll be getting back to Zipacón by the end of the afternoon. From here we’ll take you once again to the comfortable Sheraton Hotel for your last night in Bogota.

DAY 4

If you decide it is time to fly back home or to another city, we'll be glad to pick you up and take you to the airport. Time to say goodbye but we are confident you'll come back for more!
